The house by August Prize-nominated illustrator Emelie Östergren is a bustling picture book where we follow the inhabitants of a house, like a living dollhouse. The book spans several decades, so the reader can also discover how our lives have changed over time. Just look at the furnishings, clothes, vehicles and hairstyles! There is an incredible amount to discover on every page.

The house is a standalone continuation of the beloved book The City – although now Emelie Östergren has zoomed in on a building and followed life there. Lots of research is behind this picture book that really invites you to co-create!
